The Impact of Leadership on Employee Performance: A Case Study Based on Huawei

In today’s society, business leaders increasingly attach great importance to leadership that can inspire employees’ enthusiasm for work and make the entire company more orderly. The whole company is united and working towards the company’s common goals. 0Leadership consists of a variety of elements, such as the leader’s personality, the leader’s values, emotional intelligence, the leader’s ability to adapt and solve problems. At the individual employee level, the higher an employee’s level of expertise, higher workability, higher work motivation, more growth opportunities, and higher potential will lead to better performance. Therefore, high-quality leadership has a vital role in promoting employee performance. This paper discusses the definitions of leadership and employee performance, analyzes the case of Huawei, illustrates the influence of leadership on employee performance, and makes management-related suggestions regarding corporate governance.
