Due to the development of globalization, China-Japan-Korea is also faced with fierce competition and cooperation within the movie industry. Among the most important means of publicity for movies, movie posters not only convey the content and themes of the movie but also highlight cultural differences between different countries and regions. By using symbolic language as an analytical tool, this paper explores the cultural differences in China-Japan-Korea movie posters and their causes and effects. This paper first analyzes the cultural changes in the content of China-Japan-Korea movie posters, including multi-modal generation, intelligent symbolic language, and user requirements. In addition, it highlights the cultural challenges facing the symbolic language of China-Japan-Korea movie posters. These challenges include the chaos of poster content, the dilemma of poster production and dissemination, and the resulting cultural risks. A final proposal is made for developing the movie poster symbolic language industry under technical challenges, including two-way cultural exchanges, shared cultural responsibilities, and cultural reversion. This paper provides theoretical references and practical guidance for developing a high-quality symbolic language for China-Japan-Korea movie posters.
