Abstract
Metaphor and conceptual system. This paper is in line with the claim that conceptual system is both a process and a socio-cultural product. It deals with the cognitive operation of metaphor with respect to three problematic issues: lexical metaphor, meaning construction and linguistic relativity.
Résumé
Cet article s’inscrit dans le droit fil de la thèse de la double fonction du système conceptuel à la fois comme processus et comme produit socio-culturel. Il aborde la métaphore en tant qu’opération cognitive sous son triple rapport à la métaphore lexicale, à la construction du sens et à la relativité linguistique.
