The Mechanism of the Impact of Combination Sales on the Turnover Efficiency of Temporary Food

Abstract
Food waste has drawn a lot of attention from people from all walks of life and has grown to be a significant concern endangering global food security. Therefore, using effective strategies to direct and mold consumers’ temporary food purchasing behavior is very important from a practical standpoint. The article investigates if and how consumers’ propensity to purchase is impacted by temporary food, based on the combination sales model. It does this by examining the role mechanism of various combination methods and price perception elements. Using two situational experimental techniques, this study examined how consumers’ willingness to purchase can be enhanced to varying degrees by temporary food in various combination modes; the impact of different temporary food brands on the willingness to purchase similar products varies, and the price perception factor controls the influence of consumers’ willingness to purchase. sound. In theory, this study explains how the combination sales model affects consumers’ propensity to purchase temporary food. In actuality, it offers retailers a useful theoretical foundation to encourage temporary food sales and cut down on food waste.
