Concept of the Russian language teaching in the course of the US policy

As the modern world gives many opportunities for travel, communication, technologies, the need of learning foreign languages has become the critical issue for every country. The more expanded borders are, the more forces should be undertaken for controlling the situation within and out of the country. The concept of the Russian language teaching in the course of the US policy depends on political matters. The author has made an effort to describe activities of strengthening educational system for international understanding and global competence. The analyzed data includes the list of the US schools, which offer Russian language courses, the campaigns which are run for re-enforcing the position of the Russian language. This article describes the existing measures, which provide Russian language learning in the USA. The study analyses the ways of implementing the Russian language into the system of higher, secondary and primary schools. The findings indicate the measures of the Russian Federation government, which are successfully performed on the territory of the USA. The study demonstrates the changes of methodical potential, which have been undergone since 60th of XX century.
