Directions and Risks of Application of Artificial Intelligence in Industries

This article is devoted to the study of promising areas of application of artificial intelligence in individual sectors of the economy as an essential condition for improving the state management of socio-economic processes in the context of strategic development. Perspective branches of application of artificial intelligence are allocated and proved taking into account a current condition of a social and economic infrastructure of the Russian Federation. The study aims to substantiate the use of artificial intelligence in the identified industries and sectors of the economy, taking into account the emergence of potential risks. Strengths and weaknesses of artificial intelligence as a tool for managing individual socio-economic processes are also outlined. It is concluded that the growing importance of artificial intelligence in the modern economy brings with it both significant opportunities and risks. While artificial intelligence can increase productivity and economic growth, there are also concerns about employment, economic inequality, and ethical and legal implications.
