Currently, the sustainable development of enterprises, industries, regions and the national economy as a whole depends on the level of their competitiveness. The complication of business systems, the growth of competition, the widespread processes of globalization and integration require a balanced and reasonable approach to the development of management decisions in this area. An obstacle to the successful functioning of socio-ecological systems within economics are the factors of external and internal instability, which are even more intensified in the face of global uncertainty. Within the framework of this article, questions of the development of socio-ecological systems in modern conditions are considered.
