To vigorously promote the development of electric vehicles in rural areas, it is necessary to scientifically and reasonably plan and arrange the location and capacity of electric vehicle charging facilities. This article focuses on the site selection and capacity determination of electric vehicle charging stations for county-level rural power grids. An optimization model was established with the total annual cost of the entire society as the comprehensive objective function, taking into account constraints such as power flow constraints, node voltage constraints, and the number of charging stations. A simulation analysis was conducted on a newly planned area of a county power grid to verify the rationality and feasibility of the proposed model and solution method.
