Language anxiety is a common phenomenon and psychological barrier in Chinese university classrooms, which has a significant impact on Chinese students’ learning. This paper mainly discusses what language anxiety is, the phenomenon of language anxiety among Chinese college students, the factors that affect their anxiety and the intervention measures to help them improve their anxiety. As well as the theoretical and behavioral guidance based on second language learning, it highlights several intervention aspects such as automatic speech recognition, online interactive platform, artificial intelligence, classroom project allocation, group division of labor and cooperation, teacher classroom feedback, and writing expression. Through investigation and research, it is shown that the above behavioral measures can effectively help students reduce anxiety and improve their language confidence and oral ability. Finally, feasible suggestions are put forward for Chinese college students, schools and teachers, and practical activities are opened for students’ foreign language ability development.
