Abstract
This article proposes to explain how I structured the observations for a thesis corpus in French Sign Language (langue des signes française, LSF) as a foreign language methodology. Firstly, I will specific the problems involved in teaching this language to hearing adults and then, I will expose the steps involved in constituting my corpus. Finally, I will formulate some conclusions for researchers interested in building up a multi-modal corpus.
