Political culture is the psychological dimension of the political system and an important variable affecting a country’s foreign policy. The differences in political culture between China and the U.S. affect the two countries’ foreign policies and interactive relations. However, the contradictions in political culture will ultimately be subject to the practical interests of the two countries. Comparing the differences between the political cultures of the two countries and their influence on foreign policies is of particular value to understanding the bilateral relations between China and the U.S. and formulating comprehensive measures toward the United States.
