Mapping Village Potential in Developing Village Tourism Efforts in Karangasem District, Gunung Kidul

Efforts to carry out Village development which has an impact on improving the welfare of Village communities can be realized through development strategies, one of which is through efforts to develop Tourism Villages. Karangasem Village is one of the villages in Kapanewon Paliyan, Gunungkidul Regency which is expected to develop as a tourist village with its natural riches. The aim of this research activity is to carry out village potential mapping which includes village tourism maps and village potential mapping from social, economic and environmental aspects. The method used is observation. It is hoped that this activity will be useful for formulating development strategies, especially the management of Tourism Villages.
