In the background of deepening globalization, music education as an important bridge of cultural exchange, its cross-cultural perspective research is particularly important. This paper aims to investigate the influence of cultural background on music education through the comparative analysis of music teaching methods in different countries, and put forward some suggestions to promote international cooperation in music education. The research selects China, the United States, Germany, Japan and other countries as typical cases, comprehensively uses literature analysis, case study and interview methods, and analyzes the characteristics and formation reasons of music education in these countries from multiple dimensions such as social and economic conditions, cultural values and policy environment. Research indicates that while the approaches to music education vary widely across nations, its educational impact and societal significance are universally acknowledged. Building on this understanding, the study proposes several strategies to foster the global integration of music education. These include enhancing international collaboration among music educators and creating a pool of shared instructional materials to bridge cultural and educational divides. This study not only enriches the theoretical achievements in the field of cross-cultural music education, but also provides a valuable reference for practical teaching.
