Abstract
The issue of social media shaping students’ career aspirations in bridging education has received extensive attention, but there are still deficiencies in the analysis of the degree of social media and the correlation between students and social media. This article analyzes the dual influence of social media on the shaping of students’ career concepts in bridging education. This article analyzes and concludes the benefits of professional development brought by social media, such as more possibilities for career development, the expansion of professional networks, and the enhancement of entrepreneurial hopes. Meanwhile, some potential influences were also mentioned, such as false glorification, negative psychological effects, and the leakage of personal information. Based on this, this paper puts forward the following suggestions: popularize professional information skills in schools, strengthen the supervision of social media, and enhance students’ critical thinking.
