Abstract
This study further explores the application of smart tourism in driving inclusive growth in the hospitality industry by analyzing the development of Pentingsari Tourism Village in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Using a mixed-methods approach, including qualitative interviews, document analysis, and field observations, this study highlights the integration of information and communication technology (ICT), community empowerment, and cultural preservation in shaping an inclusive tourism model. The findings indicate that although digital transformation in Pentingsari has increased visibility and accessibility, challenges remain in terms of system integration, digital literacy, and inclusive stakeholder participation. This study further contributes to the discourse on sustainable and inclusive smart tourism strategies, particularly in rural hospitality destinations.
