Android application development teaching reform based on innovation ability training

Under the background of training and construction of innovative talents in new engineering, taking the Android application development course of Internet of things engineering in our university as an example, this paper explores the innovative ability training mode of programming application development courses under the background of new engineering from five aspects: project-based course teaching, enterprise training, competition driving, development project inspection and improvement, and diversified assessment methods, Gradually formed a “five in one” new teaching mode of two wheel drive. After two years of teaching reform practice, it has achieved obvious reform results from the aspects of students’ learning enthusiasm, students’ participation in competition and project development ability, and achieved the teaching effect of cultivating innovative ability.
