The university's ideological and political theory education is a great soul project to awaken students’ minds and shape character. The successful ideological and political theory education should not only strictly obey the four “circles” positioning of our Party and our country on the theme of ideology, but also highly accord with the three “spiritual” demands of college students. At present, Marxism theory education in colleges and universities poses many problems such as the separation of theory and reality in content, conceptual cognitive and emotional barriers, knowledge disjointed from practice and so on. Therefore, the teaching contents and methods of university's ideological and political theory education should be explored in a targeted way to fulfill the mission of knowledge teaching, character forging, quality cultivating and moral education more effectively.
