Taking Tujia brocade weaving as a case study, we establish a resource repository and develop virtual reality (VR) scenes to propose a conceptual framework where virtual reality technology serves the “vision” of intangible cultural heritage inheritance. This framework aims to construct a digital innovation “model” for the preservation of intangible cultural heritage. The paper deliberates on the feasibility, effectiveness, and innovativeness of combining virtual interactive technology with intangible cultural heritage protection.
