Problems and opportunities of economic diversification in the Mangystau region

In the context of current global changes, the economy of the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan is in urgent need of diversification to achieve sustainable development. Dependence on the oil and gas sector, environmental challenges, outdated infrastructure and the need to create new jobs require an integrated approach to revitalizing various sectors of the economy. At the same time, the Mangystau region has significant potential, which can be realized through investment projects in the agro-industrial complex, tourism, transport and logistics sectors and water supply infrastructure.
