Research on the Strategy of Collaborative Promotion of Poverty Alleviation between Primary Education and Social Work in Inner Mongolia

The importance of primary education in poverty alleviation work in Inner Mongolia is self-evident. Education is a key tool to break the cycle of poverty, and social work provides necessary support for the comprehensive development of impoverished areas. It is crucial to promote the synergy between these two to alleviate poverty in Inner Mongolia. The core of strategic research lies in finding effective ways to integrate primary education and social work in Inner Mongolia. One possible strategy is to establish school community centers that closely integrate social services with education. These centers can provide after-school tutoring, parent education, vocational training, and mental health support services. This approach not only directly enhances students’ learning abilities but also indirectly improves the quality of education by supporting families and communities. It is also possible to pair schools with abundant resources and schools with fewer resources through “one-to-one” or “one school, one policy” partnership projects, share educational resources, and improve the level of education. Cultivating rural teachers is another important strategy. By providing scholarships, continuing education, and career development opportunities through government and non-governmental organizations, we can attract outstanding teachers to teach in rural schools and enhance their ability to educate in specific poverty contexts.
