Abstract
Improvisational education not only enhances the musical literacy of performers but also plays an indispensable role in stimulating creativity and enhancing musical expression. This article focuses on the role of improvisational accompaniment in piano performance, aiming to explore its specific value in music creation and expression ability cultivation. The research results demonstrate that improvisational accompaniment training can significantly improve piano learners’ musical expression and creativity. In the practical process, learners not only need to master the basic laws of harmony, rhythm, and melody but also need to quickly conceive and express music according to different music styles and contexts. This process greatly exercises their creative thinking and improvisational processing abilities. Through the training of improvisational accompaniment, students are not only able to interpret music based on fixed sheet music but also actively engage in musical interpretation, resulting in a significant enhancement of their expressive power.
