Abstract
On November 30, 2022, the industry standard for teachers’ digital literacy was officially released, reflecting the importance of teachers’ digital literacy in the context of rapid development of artificial intelligence and widespread digital empowerment. However, despite extensive research on teachers’ digital literacy, researchers do not know much about the real situation of digital teaching practice of junior high school English teachers. This study used a questionnaire to survey the current status of digital teaching practice among junior high school English teachers in Beijing, obtained valid research data. Based on this questionnaire, the author analyzed the opportunities and challenges of digital teaching practice and proposed innovative strategies to enhance teaching quality, improve students’ academic achievement, and maximize benefits for both teachers and students in the digital era.
