Coécriture au CP : ce que les interactions entre pairs révèlent du développement orthographique

Abstract

Our study proposes to shed light on what is at stake in the orthographic plane when students produce a text. By favoring a writing situation in pairs and thanks to a methodology that allows the synchronization of students' speeches during their production with the text being written, we examine the stages of the writing process. The analyzed data concern the first primary class (CP) of a French class. The students observed, while they are just starting to write autonomously, make different types of comments and corrections to their writing. In the different cases of rewriting throughout the text, we observe a metalinguistic posture at work.

Résumé

Notre étude propose de mettre au jour ce qui se joue au plan orthographique quand des élèves produisent un texte. En privilégiant une situation d’écriture en binome et grâce à une méthodologie qui permet de mettre en synchronie les discours des élèves pendant leur production avec le texte en train de s’écrire, nous approchons les étapes du processus rédactionnel. Les données analysées concernent la première primaire (CP) d’une classe française. Les élèves de CP observés, alors qu’ils rentrent juste dans l’écrit autonome, procèdent à différents types de commentaires et de rectifications de leur écrit. Dans les différents cas de réécriture au fil du texte, nous observons une posture métalinguistique en œuvre.
