Résumé

Dans cet article, nous proposons d’alimenter la réflexion sur l'expertise lorsqu’elle est questionnée par la terminologie. Dans un premier temps est présentée une approche sociolinguistique de la terminologie, la socioterminologie, et notamment ses réflexions sur la notion d’expertise. Il est question ensuite de la terminologie textuelle. Ces portraits croisés visent à mettre en évidence certaines différences, mais surtout, leurs axes complémentaires. Cette complémentarité permet de construire un cadre théorique et méthodologique adéquat et innovant afin de répondre aux besoins d’analyse de pratiques langagières spécifiques, qui met la notion d’expertise au coeur. C’est ce dont nous discutons dans une troisième partie à travers la proposition d’une approche hybride d'un terrain en santé.

Resumen

When Socioterminology meets Textual Terminology: an inquiry into the notion of expertise. In this article, we propose to further reflections on the notion of expertise by investigating it from a terminological perspective. The first part focuses on the notion of expertise in socioterminology, a sociolinguistic approach to terminology. The second part deals with textual terminology. By presenting these two different ways of conceptualizing expertise, we aim to highlight how these two approaches diverge, but significantly, also complement one another. This complementarity enables us to develop an appropriate and innovative theoretical and methodological framework to meet the analytical needs of specific language practices in which the notion of expertise is key, thereby putting forward a proposition of a hybrid approach.
