Spelling knowledge: from the collectively constructed to the individually appropriate? The purpose of our research is to understand how students grasp different ways of learning situations that are proposed to them in the context of spelling, including interactions. The research question that guides our research protocol is the following: Can orthographic knowledge, collectively constructed, be mobilized individually, re-entered by students when they are confronted with a form to be spelled?
